Encyclopedia of Arda

Hey All you Lord of the Rings fans:

You might wanna check out the Encyclopedia of Arda when you have nothing to do. It is an encyclopedia of Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit and all the rest of Tolkien’s works related to The Lord of the Rings. It’s really amazingly detailed. You may not be aware of the extent to which Tolkien planned his books. He wrote many, many papers etc preparing for LOTR. These contained a whole history of Middle Earth, Geneologies etc. One of the most famous of these “histories” is The Simarilion. A lot of the rest of Tolkien’s papers were published by his son after his death, despite Tolkien never intending them to be. Encyclopedia of Arda have combined all the known knowledge of Middle Earth and LOTR in general and put it into one very cool resource.

Hope you enjoy this as much as I have!
